Senior Biotechnologist, Upstream Operations

Job Summary
Serve as the technical and operational subject matter expert for upstream processes, spearheading fermentation, seed train, and media preparation operations within cGMP environments. Manage assigned quality management system activities, including deviations, CAPAs, and investigations, while analyzing process data to identify trends and support stability. Troubleshoot technical issues, support technology transfer and validation, and coach team members to strengthen competency. Maintain inspection readiness of upstream areas and complete all GMP documentation with accuracy. Work rotating day, evening, and night shifts in Grade C, D, and CNC environments.
Required Qualifications
- BSc or higher qualification in Biotechnology, Engineering, or comparable
- 3+ years of industry experience
- Proven experience of collaborative team working
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
