Job Summary
Design and implement statistical analyses for clinical trials, including developing statistical analysis plans and interpreting results. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define study objectives, data requirements, and statistical methodologies. Provide expert guidance for clinical trial protocols and data analysis strategies while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Mentor junior statisticians to foster a collaborative environment within the biostatistics team. Requires an advanced degree in biostatistics, significant industry experience, and proficiency in SAS, R, or Python. This role is based in Tokyo, Osaka, or remote hybrid settings for a Senior Biostatistician II at ICON.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related field
- Significant experience in biostatistics within the clinical research industry
- Strong track record in designing and analyzing clinical trial data
- Proficiency in statistical software and programming languages such as SAS, R, or Python
- Strong analytical skills
- Thorough understanding of clinical trial methodology
