Senior Bioprocess Sales Specialist – Process Analytics

Job Summary
Drive revenue growth for Repligen's Process Analytics portfolio by developing strategic account plans, generating demand, and achieving annual bookings and margin objectives. Serve as the technical commercial expert for inline spectroscopy, Raman, and PAT software solutions, engaging process development and manufacturing teams to integrate real-time monitoring technologies into cell culture, protein purification, and continuous bioprocessing workflows. Conduct scientific discussions, deliver technical presentations, and lead proof-of-concept evaluations while partnering with Account Managers, Field Application Scientists, and Product Management to support Quality by Design and continuous manufacturing initiatives. Build executive-level relationships with key decision-makers across biopharmaceutical manufacturers and CDMOs, providing market intelligence and Voice-of-Customer feedback to inform product positioning and development strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, or a related life sciences field
- 5–10+ years of experience in bioprocess development, biomanufacturing, applications, or technical sales
- Strong knowledge of upstream and downstream bioprocessing workflows
- Experience with process analytical technologies, spectroscopy, or bioprocess instrumentation
- Demonstrated success selling complex capital equipment or technical solutions into the biopharmaceutical industry
- Excellent consultative selling, presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to travel approximately 40–60% within the assigned territory
Desired Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D.
- Experience with PAT implementation in GMP manufacturing
- Familiarity with inline spectroscopy technologies, including Raman, UV/Vis, fluorescence, and concentration measurement systems
- Experience supporting monoclonal antibody, recombinant protein, vaccine, plasma-derived, cell therapy, or gene therapy manufacturing
- Experience collaborating with MSAT, process development, manufacturing sciences, and automation teams
