Job Summary
Senior Bioengineering Analyst role at Dell Medical School to support the clinical engineering program with advanced technical support, lifecycle management, and strategic planning for complex medical device ecosystems. Serves as SME for biomedical systems, leads preventive maintenance and electrical safety testing, ensures regulatory readiness and audit support, drives device interoperability, cybersecurity, and standardized processes, and mentors junior analysts. Requires senior-level expertise in diagnostic troubleshooting, vendor and contract strategy, capital budgeting collaboration, and cross-functional leadership across clinical, IT, cybersecurity, and operations teams. Onsite in Austin, TX with responsibilities spanning maintenance, compliance, lifecycle planning, and implementation of innovative technologies to improve uptime, safety, and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline; OR Associate’s degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology
- Six years of progressive biomedical or clinical engineering experience
- Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic experience supporting medical equipment and systems
- Experience working in large, complex healthcare environments
- Knowledge of medical device maintenance, compliance requirements, and operational best practices
- Ability to support complex clinical technologies and medical device ecosystems
- Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate
