Senior BIM Technician

Job Summary
Undertake complex modelling tasks to meet client requirements and manage project BIM deliverables. Support and manage the delivery of project and design work through the preparation of drawings and models on complex projects, incorporating cross-discipline liaison and high-level technical skills. Provide expertise in Building Information Modelling methodologies within WSP Technology Systems disciplines and work with client Digital Teams to establish BIM Management plans and protocols. Lead design coordination process development and implementation on projects while promoting the implementation of advanced project technology tools required for digital project delivery. Represent the company through target industry organisations and contribute to the execution of the business group strategic plan. Requires 5-10 years' experience within BIM and eligibility for Australian Defence security clearance.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years' experience within BIM
- Eligibility to obtain Australian Defence security clearance
- Australian Citizenship
- Highly skilled in modelling & detailing complex designs
- Highly competent using role specific software
- Advanced design software coordination & awareness
- Advanced BIM software knowledge
- Proven ability in BIM Management
- Advanced knowledge of BIM and design led BIM within Property disciplines
- Understanding of multidisciplinary BIM process
- Demonstrated experience in Advanced 3D or equivalent
- Highly skilled in complex designs and Coordination management
- Wide exposure to industry best practice in BIM, Revit, Project Design & Documentation
- Experience in reviewing BIM Scope and BIM Execution Plans
- Demonstrated knowledge of systems, procedures and practices
- Demonstrated knowledge of organisational approach to risk management, ethics and safety
- Advanced knowledge in all manners of Construction Methodology & Project Delivery methods
