Job Summary
The Senior BIM Technician/VDC Specialist ensures BIM and CAD deliverables from external architects, engineers, and contractors are accurate, standardized, and reusable. Core responsibilities include auditing BIM and CAD deliverables, upgrading models to meet owner standards, and troubleshooting technical issues. Required skills include 5+ years experience with Revit and AutoCAD, understanding of BIM Execution Plans, and ability to work independently within standards-driven environments. Preferred skills include familiarity with Dynamo, Navisworks, and ACC project setups.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with Revit and AutoCAD
- Experience supporting construction, engineering, manufacturing, or facilities environments
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or CAD, or equivalent experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Understanding of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), LOD requirements, and owner BIM/CAD standards
- Experience working with deliverables received from external consultants or contractors
- Experience with BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / Forma
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a structured, standards‐driven environment
Desired Qualifications
- Dynamo, PyRevit, automation or scripting
- Navisworks, Civil 3D
- ACC/BIM 360 project setup, bridging, and issue tracking
- Experience with legacy drawings and long‐lifecycle assets
- Familiarity with record, closeout, or facilities deliverables
