Job Summary
Senior BIM Modeler specializing in Electrical and ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems to create, update, and coordinate BIM models using Autodesk Revit. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining BIM models for electrical and ELV systems (lighting, power distribution, cable trays, fire alarm, CCTV, access control, data systems), coordinating with HVAC, plumbing, architectural, and structural teams, generating Combined Services Drawings (CSDs), performing clash detection and resolution with Navisworks Manage or similar tools, extracting drawings, schedules, and quantity take-offs, and ensuring documentation is updated and controlled throughout the project lifecycle. Requires 3–5 years of experience in BIM modelling for Electrical & ELV systems; knowledge of IEC, NFPA, and local electrical codes; strong communication in English; experience on international projects; proficiency in Revit (mandatory), Navisworks Manage, and AutoCAD (basic).
Required Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in BIM modelling for Electrical & ELV systems
- Autodesk Revit (Mandatory)
- Navisworks Manage (Clash Detection)
- AutoCAD (Basic)
- ACC and other cloud collaboration platforms
- Knowledge of IEC NFPA Local electrical codes
- Design experience will be an added advantage
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Experience working on international projects
- Self-driven, disciplined, punctual, and hardworking
- Basic knowledge of Revit plugins for automation
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
