Senior BIM Designer Piping , Data Center

Job Summary
Develop and manage BIM models for complex piping systems in mission-critical Data Center projects using Autodesk Revit, preparing LOD 200–400 deliverables and extracting construction drawings. Coordinate chilled water, condenser water, fire protection, and utility piping with multidisciplinary teams including architecture, structural, and electrical disciplines to ensure clash-free, constructible designs. Prepare General Arrangement Drawings, isometrics, and shop drawings while reviewing RFIs and supporting site teams during construction. Ensure model integrity, LOD compliance, and QA/QC standards throughout the project lifecycle from concept to as-built. Minimum 6 to 10 years of BIM piping design experience required, with 2+ years on Data Center projects preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- 6 to 10 years of experience in BIM piping design
- Minimum 2 years of experience on Data Center or Mission Critical projects
- Strong experience in BIM modelling of piping systems for Data Centers, Industrial Plants, District Cooling Plants, Pharmaceutical Facilities, Semiconductor Facilities or Oil & Gas projects
- Extensive knowledge of piping layouts, pipe routing, supports, equipment connections, plant room coordination, underground utilities, pipe sizing principles, constructability and multidisciplinary coordination
- Autodesk Revit MEP (Expert)
- AutoCAD
- Navisworks
- Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
- BIM Collaborate Pro
- BIM 360
- Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
- participate in BIM coordination meetings
- manage project priorities and work under demanding project schedules
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience on Data Center or Mission Critical projects preferred
- Dynamo (Preferred)
- Experience with hyperscale Data Centers (AWS, Google, Microsoft, Meta, Equinix, Digital Realty, AirTrunk, Nxtra, PDG)
- Knowledge of ASME B31 series, NFPA, NBC 2026, IS Codes, BIM ISO 19650 and Autodesk Certified Professional – Revit MEP
- Experience in LOD 400 modelling, BIM execution planning, prefabrication modelling, laser scan integration and construction sequencing
