Job Summary
Manage the end-to-end Accounts Receivable process by accurately processing all customer billing types, creating A/R invoices for standard transportation and port activities, and resolving discrepancies in accounting records. Verify billing data accuracy, revise errors, and run AR reports using PowerBI to support revenue tracking. Monitor weekly orders, route items to appropriate departments, and communicate with internal teams to resolve billing issues arising from systems or customers. Train incoming analysts, submit IT tickets for system errors, and generate ideas for process improvements to execute change requests.
Required Qualifications
- Has an understanding for general concept and process of Billing and Collection
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other database management systems
- Has an understanding of Process Improvement methodology
- Familiarity with BI Reporting tools
- Has a basic Accounting knowledge
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3 - 5 Years of direct experience in Finance and/or Accounting
Desired Qualifications
- 4 - 7 Years of direct experience in Finance, Accounting, Billing, and/or Operations
