Job Summary
Senior Billing Manager at a large global law firm overseeing the end-to-end billing process and revenue management to support firm objectives. Acts as a subject-matter expert to billing attorneys and leadership, coordinates with the Global Billing team on best practices and system upgrades, and provides interpretation and guidance to attorneys, paralegals, and staff on billing and collections. Liaises with Finance Committee members to support objectives, facilitates calls and next steps with close coordination with the Global Finance Department, and continually reviews procedures to improve efficiency and resource allocation. Maintains confidentiality of sensitive financial information. Role may offer a hybrid and in-office schedule.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of ten (10) years of increasingly complex accounting experience, including a minimum of four (4) years in law firm billing processes and practices
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of the firm’s billing system or the ability to develop such knowledge
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to interact with people at all organizational levels
- Ability to work in a team environment with a customer-service focus
