Job Summary
Design and build scalable data models and reporting layers while owning BI dashboard development and optimization. Translate complex business requirements into actionable data products and partner with Data Engineering on pipelines and quality. Support A/B testing frameworks using SQL, dbt, and Python or R to drive critical business decisions. This role impacts millions of lives within a mission-driven fintech team based in Cape Town or remote.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in BI Engineering or Analytics Engineering, preferably in fintech/SaaS
- Strong SQL, dbt, and data modeling expertise
- Proven experience with Tableau or similar BI tools
- Ability to translate complex business needs into data solutions
- Experience supporting A/B testing frameworks
- Python or R for deeper analysis
