Job Summary
Design, build, test, and deploy new libraries, frameworks, or full systems for core products while writing optimized, complex queries on large datasets. Own the end-to-end internal analytics tool and implement data pipelines to collect, process, and deliver data solutions, ensuring scalability, stability, and accuracy. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to consolidate analytical needs and build feasibility analytics tools. Maintain data quality and consistency, standardize platform documentation, and monitor performance in an agile environment using Python, SQL, and modern web frameworks. This role supports the Data department's goal of empowering business decision-making and improving search experiences across Agoda's global travel platform.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
- 3-5 years of software development experience
- Proficiency in Python language
- A good understanding of REST APIs and web development concepts
- Experience with Git and Version Control
- SQL experience and the ability to write complex queries on big data sets
- Good written and verbal English communication skills
- Quick learner with problem-solving aptitude
- A self-motivated, ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new technologies

- Experience with software development processes for Agile/Scrum and CI/CD utilizing technologies such as GIT, Jenkins, Terraform
- Analytics, business intelligence, or data visualization experience
