Job Summary
Senior Benefits Principal Consultant will bridge the gap between business and technical teams by solving complex Workday intersystem problems, guiding clients through transformation, implementation, and operation phases of a Workday implementation. Responsibilities include acting as a Workday product expert in design, configuration, testing, and implementation; leading, mentoring, and overseeing other consultants; guiding design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practices; supporting clients through all project phases and migrating from legacy systems to Workday HCM; handling data loading, data transfers between tenants, and configuring business processes and security; mentoring analysts, participating in training, and contributing to internal knowledge sharing. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 4+ years of Workday functional experience, with 5 years in HR/Benefits/Financial software and ERP/SaaS implementations; Workday Benefits or HCM certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent
- 4+ years of Workday functional implementation experience
- Workday Certification in Workday Benefits or HCM preferred
- 5 years Human Resources, Benefits, or Financial software experience
- 5 years implementing functional solutions with ERP or SaaS software
- Experience gathering business requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines
- Demonstrated functional experience in Human Resources, Benefits, or Financials Management
