Job Summary
Senior Benefits Consultant responsible for retaining clients and their book of business; leads strategy, financial analysis, benefit design, plan renewals, benchmarking, and service delivery; communicates OneDigital’s value and industry trends to active clients; oversees onboarding of new clients, manages timelines, ensures client satisfaction, cultivates carrier relationships, and grows revenue through cross-selling. Requires 7+ years of benefits consulting experience, a Bachelor's degree, and a valid life/health insurance license; proficient in Excel and knowledgeable on HIPAA, ERISA, PPACA, and state health insurance exchange regulations. Base pay range: $165,000–$180,000 per year; includes potential bonuses and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 7+ years’ of benefits consulting experience
- Valid life and health insurance license
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of HIPAA, ERISA, PPACA and state health insurance exchanges
- Experience in renewal strategy, RFP distribution, open enrollment, and onboarding
- Strong communication and organizational skills
