Job Summary
Senior Benefits Analyst overseeing benefits transactions and compliance across multi-state and Bahamas populations using Workday; responsible for enrollments, life events, terminations, billing reconciliation, reporting, and open enrollment; partners with HRIS and HR to ensure accurate benefits administration and communication; serves as the day-to-day contact for carriers including COBRA vendors; ensures ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and HIPAA compliance; analyzes and validates benefits data and reporting, with a focus on data accuracy and process improvement across locations.
Required Qualifications
- 3 - 5+ years of benefits administration experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or closely related field
- Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS®) preferred
- 3 - 5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Benefits to include reporting and vendor EDI feeds
- Proven experience with billing reconciliation, reporting, auditing, and compliance execution
- Experience supporting multi-state populations (Bahamas experience a plus)
- Strong understanding of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and HIPAA compliance
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables (build, manipulate and troubleshooting)
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to develop and present benefits related to training and educational materials
