Job Summary

Senior Benefits Analyst role based in Vancouver, operating in a hybrid arrangement with in-office days Tuesday–Thursday. Responsible for day-to-day administration of global benefit programs (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, wellness), handling inquiries, and coordinating with vendors. Leads leave of absence program management (FMLA, parental leave, disability leave), designs and optimizes workflows, and coordinates with third-party administrators. Manages vendor relationships, tracks performance, and ensures service levels. Supports compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, GDPR; handles 401(k) governance and renewal analyses. Assists with enrollment system configuration, data integrity, dashboards, and reporting to track utilization and program performance. Develops employee communications and campaigns, promotes wellbeing initiatives, and collaborates with HR, Payroll, and vendors to ensure accurate pay and benefit continuation. Requires 4-6+ years of relevant experience and strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills; compensation range CAD 113k-125k plus bonus in Vancouver. This is a hybrid role with in-office presence in Vancouver. It emphasizes analytics, vendor management, compliance, and program improvements across a distributed workforce of 2,200 across 19 countries.

Required Qualifications

  • 4-6+ years of experience in benefits and leave administration
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. health and welfare plans and retirement programs; global experience a plus
  • Experience working with brokers, TPAs, and benefits vendors
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience supporting benefit renewals and annual enrollment cycles
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically, solve problems independently, and exercise judgment
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Experience with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and GDPR compliance
  • Ability to work in a distributed/global workforce
  • Hybrid work availability in Vancouver with in-office days per week
