Job Summary
Senior Battery Marketer responsible for delivering, installing, and servicing batteries along an assigned route with a focus on customer support, inventory management, and growth of existing accounts plus identifying new prospects. Duties include delivering, replenishing, and picking up batteries, stocking inventory, educating customers on product features and benefits, handling battery cores and warranties, ensuring compliance with DOT/OSHA/environmental guidelines, maintaining accurate paperwork and service logs, and coordinating follow-up with prospects. Emphasizes strong customer service, sales incentives, and professional growth opportunities, with a base salary plus commissions, clean late-model vehicles, and comprehensive benefits. Must hold a Class B CDL with Haz-Mat Endorsement and be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Be 21 years or older
- Clean driving record
- Possess a Class B or better Commercial Driver’s License with Haz-Mat Endorsement
- Ability to regularly lift and move heavy batteries (up to 75 lbs) with proper technique
- Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
- Routine driving and onsite customer interaction
