Job Summary
Lead the team at the Fitzroy venue as Senior Barista, developing and training a passionate barista team, managing the coffee program and liaising with the roastery. Deliver an outstanding hospitality experience through barista craftsmanship and customer engagement. Lead shifts, organize breaks, and approve timesheets. Must have at least two years’ senior barista experience, strong team-management skills, experience with multiple machines and brewing styles, extraction profiling, and latte art prowess. Availability on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday is required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years’ experience as a Senior Barista in specialty coffee
- Strong experience developing and managing a team to deliver high-quality, consistent specialty coffee
- Experience working on a variety of different machines and different brewing styles
- A strong understanding of extraction profiling and implementing recipes
- Excellent latte art and the ability to train others
- Clear and effective communication
- Availability to work a Friday, Saturday and Sunday
