Senior Banquet Manager

Act as the liaison with the Director of Catering and step in as acting Director of Banquets during absences. Verify and post banquet charges in Agilysys, delineate service charges for payroll, and enter consumption data for bar reports. Keep the BEO Master Book updated daily, monitor time punches, and assist in processing payroll. Coordinate hiring efforts with HR, supervise up to five subordinate supervisors and 30+ employees, and enforce service protocols and sanitation standards. Assess associate skill sets, implement training activities, and recommend progressive discipline when appropriate. Ensure proper handling of china and silverware, maintain organized banquet storage areas, and enter service requests for equipment concerns. Work with purchasing on inventories, establish pars for requisitioned items, and provide digital requisitions to captains. Maintain harmonious relationships with guests and staff while adhering to safety rules and completing HR Matrix training.
