Senior Banker II staffing a Houston-area financial center, responsible for uncovering personal and small business banking needs, recommending products and solutions, connecting clients to specialists, and guiding customers through transactions and self-service tools. Emphasizes relationship-building, proactive follow-up, and adherence to regulatory guidelines while leveraging banking products (checking/savings, credit cards, CDs, IRAs, loans) and partnering with Merrill, Lending, and Small Business teams to address client needs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year demonstrated sales experience in a relationship-oriented and client-centric environment
- Enthusiastic, highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and intense focus on results
- Collaborates effectively to get things done, building and nurturing strong relationships
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to learn and adapt to new information and technology platforms
- Handles ambiguity and adapts to changing circumstances
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Effective time management and multi-tasking
- Commissioned notary or ability to obtain notary commission within a few months (state dependent)
- Willingness to work weekends and/or extended hours
