Job Summary
Senior Banker II at Bank of America responsible for uncovering personal banking needs of individual and small business clients, offering appropriate solutions, and connecting clients to specialists. Responsibilities include balancing working service requests and transactional activities, proactively following up with clients, and handling complex client engagements. Responsibilities also cover introducing and fulfilling banking products (checking/savings, credit cards, CDs, IRAs, loans), identifying client needs for licensed sales functions and referring to partners (Merrill, Lending, Small Business), quoting rates and terms, managing risk, leveraging technology and resources to optimize client experience, and educating clients on self-service technologies. The role requires building and deepening client relationships, ensuring regulatory compliance, and being able to work in a in-office banking environment with potential weekend/extended hours.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year demonstrated sales experience in a relationship-oriented and client-centric environment
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to learn and adapt to new information, technology platforms, handle ambiguity and adapt to changing circumstances
- Notary commission in state of work within a few months of start date (varies by location)
- Hours may include weekends and extended hours within reasonable distance
- Education: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
