Job Summary
Complete monthly bank reconciliations for a hotel portfolio, coordinate with property and central accounting teams to resolve outstanding items, and prepare necessary journal entries. Train junior analysts on reconciliation standards, assist with resolving accounting discrepancies, and help develop internal control policies. Distribute responsibilities among the Bank Reconciliation Group, participate in staff meetings and committees, and support annual performance assessments. Perform assigned monthly closing duties and special projects while adhering to Aimbridge Hospitality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of and experience with bank reconciliations
- Thorough understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
- Strong computer skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong critical thinking/analytical ability
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1-3 years' experience
- Knowledge of Blackline matching tool
