Job Summary
Own and drive the evolution of the Subscriptions and Payments platforms, building foundational systems and APIs that support customer-facing experiences. Lead feature development for subscription growth and monetization while making architectural decisions and improving system reliability, observability, and scalability. Collaborate with Product, Design, Data, and Engineering teams to define scope, review code, and deliver solutions using TypeScript, Node.js, Redis, and PostgreSQL on AWS. Participate in an occasional on-call rotation. Report to the Engineering Manager of the Subscriptions and Payments Enablement team.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years in a software development role
- 4+ years experience with Node.js or another backend technology
- 1+ years experience leading and implementing complex designs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with TypeScript is preferred
- Experience with a system deployed in an AWS environment is preferred
