Job Summary
Build and operate the platform on Google Cloud using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code, managing CI/CD pipelines and clean promotion across environments. Develop backend services in Python, design clean APIs, and integrate with internal and third-party systems. Construct production data pipelines on BigQuery, handling partitioning, cost tuning, and scheduled batch or streaming workloads. Shape a scalable architecture with clean separation of concerns while adhering to security and IAM standards for regulated financial institutions, including RBAC, SSO, and audit logging. Requires 5+ years in backend or platform engineering with strong Python, BigQuery, and DevOps skills, plus fluent German and English. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in backend or platform engineering, with production experience on Google Cloud
- Strong Python and clean API and service design
- Hands-on data engineering on BigQuery
- Solid DevOps practice: Terraform, CI/CD, containerized workloads
- Practical depth in cloud security and IAM: identity, access control, audit logging
- Fluent German (C1 or higher) and fluent English
