Job Summary
Own the Identity Lifecycle by architecting foundational security and identity services that authenticate every entity within the ecosystem. Define fine-grained authorization strategies and manage enterprise integration standards including federated identity, automated provisioning, and secure machine-to-machine communication protocols. Lead the transition to a modern, globally distributed Identity and Access Management platform powered by SpiceDB and Go while building internal SDKs and gRPC contracts for downstream engineers. Improve system observability and ensure systemic integrity by integrating monitoring, load-testing, and immutable audit logging pipelines. As a founding member of the regional hub, establish the technical bar and operational culture for the India-based team to enable seamless asynchronous collaboration with US stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of backend engineering with significant time spent building distributed systems in Go
- Deep understanding of AuthN/AuthZ primitives: OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and JWT mechanics
- Proven ability to manage complex data migrations, distributed architecture and build gRPC-based microservices
- Exceptional written clarity; the ability to write Technical Design Documents (TPDs) that bridge the gap between India and US-based stakeholders
- Experience with Zanzibar-style authorization or SpiceDB
- Background check completion
