Job Summary
Senior Backend Engineer to scale Tabby’s core backend systems. You will work on high-impact projects in a high-growth FinTech environment, building scalable, distributed backend services using Go (Golang) and a microservices architecture. You’ll integrate third-party APIs, work with PostgreSQL, Redis, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform, and contribute to product development with clean, maintainable code. The role emphasizes independent, proactive work and strong English communication within an internationally distributed engineering team. Remote work is available across Europe, with relocation support to hubs in Armenia, Georgia, Serbia, Portugal, and Spain.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience
- 2 years working with Golang
- Experience building scalable, distributed systems and high-load architectures
- Solid understanding of backend tools and technologies (PostgreSQL, Redis, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, GitLab, microservices)
- Experience integrating third-party APIs
- Ability to write clean, testable, maintainable code
- Proactive mindset and ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills in English
- Go experience preferred; open to engineers from other stacks willing to learn Go
