Job Summary
Architect, design, and develop highly scalable and fault-tolerant systems using Java while ensuring system responsiveness and efficiency by identifying bottlenecks. Maintain code quality through reviews, automated testing, and mentorship, and participate in CI/CD pipeline design and optimization. Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define features, provide guidance to junior engineers, and research new technologies to enhance product quality. Ensure proper documentation for the codebase and architectural decisions. This role supports the engineering team in shaping future products and delivering high-quality software within a growing organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of professional backend development experience
- Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Hibernate)
- Experience with microservices architecture and API design
- Solid understanding of relational databases, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with modern CI/CD tools and practices
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalability challenges
