Job Summary
Senior Backend Engineer - Performance responsible for defining performance baselines, leading end-to-end performance testing for the Truelark integration, building a self-service performance testing platform integrated with CI/CD, codifying performance best practices for Go-based microservices on Kubernetes, performing deep-dive bottleneck analysis, and defining/monitoring SLOs to ensure reliability and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include architecting performance strategy, building developer-focused tooling, enhancing observability, and collaborating across teams to scale systems without degradation. Skills emphasized include Go and Python, Kubernetes, CI/CD (GitLab/GitHub Actions), performance testing methodologies (load, stress, spike, endurance), Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, pprof, k6/Locust, and internal platform/tooling development. Remote-work option is available in the US.
