Job Summary
Develop and optimize Fireblocks' trading API to ensure a seamless and scalable experience for users connecting exchanges, OTC desks, custodians, and wallets. Lead meaningful cross-functional features by mentoring developers on complex designs and integrating third-party trading agencies into the multi-functional platform. Research and implement cloud-native architectures to support ongoing growth and scalability while maintaining reliable, fast, and secure trading solutions for both crypto and fiat assets. Join the Liquidity Team in Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel, as a Senior Backend Engineer with at least five years of experience in Node.js, TypeScript, and distributed systems.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in backend development
- Focus on scalable infrastructure
- Proficiency in Node.js
- Proficiency in TypeScript
- Strong understanding of system design principles
- Strong understanding of distributed systems
- Strong understanding of scalability
- Proven track record of designing microservices-based architectures
- Proven track record of deploying microservices-based architectures
- Proven track record of designing and deploying microservices-based architectures in production environments
- Experience with monitoring and logging frameworks
- Experience with Datadog
- Experience with Prometheus
- Experience with Grafana
- Experience with ELK stack
- Solid understanding of blockchain fundamentals
- Understanding of transaction lifecycles
- Understanding of block confirmations
- Understanding of mempool mechanics
- Understanding of finality across multiple chains
- Familiarity with EVM-compatible chains
- Familiarity with Solana
- Familiarity with Bitcoin
- Hands-on familiarity with DeFi protocols
- Hands-on familiarity with DeFi primitives
