Senior Backend Engineer Java or Kotlin (All Genders)

Senior Backend Engineer on the CPM team building a Kotlin-based backend for centralized promotions. Design and implement end-to-end backend features in a microservices architecture using Kotlin (Arrow), Kubernetes, Aurora PostgreSQL, Oracle, and AWS with Terraform. Contribute to end-to-end product lifecycle from conception to deployment and monitoring, participate in Agile ceremonies, and ensure quality through automated testing (JUnit, Mockito, Karate, Cypress) and production support. Maintain infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, and monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK. Collaborate with Product Owner and engineers to refine tasks, deliver robust production-ready applications, and communicate effectively with users and cross-functional teams. Located in Madrid with hybrid work arrangement (60% office, 40% home) and potential flexibility for 20 days abroad.
