Job Summary
Develop and maintain robust backend applications and services, designing and implementing RESTful APIs while integrating with databases and messaging systems. Write automated tests and support continuous delivery practices to ensure code quality, applying security best practices throughout the development lifecycle. Collaborate with cross-functional squad members to define and deliver business-driven solutions, actively participating in technical discussions and knowledge sharing. Stay updated with evolving technologies and engineering practices within a globally distributed team.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in backend development
- Proficiency in Java (Java 8 or higher)
- Solid experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks
- Hands-on experience with RESTful API development
- Familiarity with Git or similar version control tools
- Experience in test automation (e.g., JUnit, Mockito)
- Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals (OOP, design patterns, TDD)
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in global teams
Desired Qualifications
- Java 11+
- Experience with SQL, JPA, or Hibernate
- Exposure to microservices architecture and containerization
- Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines
- Agile ways of working and adaptability to change
