Job Summary
Senior Backend Engineer at a green-tech startup in Berlin. You will develop high-quality data streaming and analytical software design, identify and execute SDLC tasks to deliver business impact, own your code and ensure it meets best practices, review others’ code, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors. The role requires extensive backend experience (7+ years) in startups and deep knowledge of Python and AWS (ECS, RDS, CloudWatch, OpenSearch) with IoT context; motivated by learning and contributing to sustainable energy decarbonisation initiatives. This position is in-person in Berlin (hybrid options available).
