Job Summary
Ingest, transform, and serve structured and unstructured financial datasets at scale by designing highly scalable, cost-effective data processing pipelines that handle millions of documents daily. Build systems connecting heterogeneous financial sources into coherent, queryable platforms while collaborating with the Core AI team to ensure data maximizes model performance. Develop secure, compliant integrations treating enterprise customer data with the highest standards of trust and reliability. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, 6+ years of backend experience, and proficiency in Python, Rust, C++, or Java. Candidates must master distributed systems, SQL, NoSQL, and cloud stacks like GCP, with a track record of shipping autonomous products in fast-moving environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with GCP or equivalent cloud stack
- Deep expertise in Python for backend and API systems
- Proficiency in at least one strongly typed language (Rust, C++, or Java)
- Mastery in designing large-scale distributed systems
- Strong command of relational databases and SQL
- Proven experience building and operating large-scale data pipelines
- 3+ years of experience working closely with globally distributed engineering teams
- Demonstrated passion for corporate finance, capital markets, and financial data
