The Senior Backend Engineer will work on microservices integrating Suki products with top health systems, focusing on building features that impact clinicians positively. Candidates should have extensive experience in software engineering, particularly with C++ and Go, and be proficient in communicating with microservices using protobufs, alongside skills in Docker and Kubernetes. The role requires a problem-solving mindset, ability to iterate quickly, and strong foundational knowledge in computer science.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years experience in a software engineering role
- Intimate knowledge of C++ and Go
- Ability to add and modify functionality to improve current integration capabilities
- Very capable of communication with existing microservices using protobufs
- Knows how to containerize services using docker and kubernetes
- Experience taking product technical design from inception to production
- Strong grasp of CS fundamentals including algorithms, data structures and design
