Job Summary
Design and implement highly scalable backend endpoints while gathering product requirements and writing design docs. Drive the full lifecycle of software development, from architecture and solution design through quality assurance and maintenance. Mentor colleagues on best practices, share knowledge, and communicate progress to stakeholders. Introduce new technologies and innovative ideas to enhance performance and reliability. Own projects from start to finish, breaking down large initiatives into manageable tasks. Work effectively within a large global team across design, front-end, analytics, and engineering functions. Leverage AI tools to optimize code generation, debugging, and productivity workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of industry experience in backend development
- At least 3-4 years in senior positions
- Experience developing distributed web applications
- Experience with database modeling (SQL or NoSQL)
- Experience with using and designing RESTful services
- Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design
