Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain server-side architecture using Python and Django, including RESTful APIs for front-end communication. Manage relational databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL, optimizing queries and ensuring data integrity. Integrate third-party services such as payment gateways and authentication systems while writing clean, efficient code. Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality solutions, participating in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions. Develop unit tests and conduct performance testing to ensure robust software, troubleshooting and upgrading existing systems. This remote role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of Python/Django experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
- 3-5 years of professional experience as a Python/Django Developer
- Strong proficiency in Python and the Django framework
- Experience with RESTful API development and microservices architecture
- Proficiency in relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks

Desired Qualifications
