Job Summary
Senior Backend / Cloud Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable backend systems and cloud-native infrastructure. You will deploy, manage, and optimize applications on AWS (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM), design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and use Docker and Kubernetes for containerized microservices. Responsibilities include building reliable distributed systems, designing RESTful and GraphQL APIs (Python with FastAPI or Java with Spring Boot/Quarkus), developing asynchronous processing pipelines (Celery, RabbitMQ, Redis), and ensuring observability through logging, monitoring, metrics, and distributed tracing. You will optimize database schemas (PostgreSQL/MySQL/NoSQL), implement caching strategies, and ensure high throughput, resilience, and low latency, while focusing on performance, security, and maintainability of backend services.

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Strong backend engineering experience with Python (FastAPI preferred) or Java (Spring Boot / Quarkus)
- Experience designing RESTful and GraphQL APIs
