Senior Back-end Engineer

Job Summary
Develop scalable back-end services by optimizing performance, reliability, and security while implementing authentication and authorization. Contribute to event-driven architectures and asynchronous system operations, collaborating with MuleSoft, Contentful/Uniform, and Mobile App teams to deliver high-quality features. Work closely with architects on system design, participate in code reviews, and apply AI-forward tools like Claude and Cursor to ship higher-quality work at pace. Contribute to shared engineering practices that lift team quality. This role requires 8+ years of back-end experience with Node.js, Python, AWS Lambdas, and GraphQL, plus SQL/NoSQL knowledge and CI/CD proficiency. We offer 20 days of paid vacation, medical insurance, and public holidays.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, focused on back-end development (e.g., Node.js, Python) and API integration
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Lambdas, Node.js and GraphQL
- Experience with event driven processing
- Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL dbs
- Experience working in agile teams and delivering production-ready software
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Upper-Intermediate level of English (written and spoken)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Contentful and Uniform
- Demonstrable usage of AI-forward tools such as Claude Code or Codex in software development lifecycle
