Job Summary
Senior Azure Databricks Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and implementing large-scale data engineering solutions on Microsoft Azure. Must have 6+ years of total experience with a strong background in data analytics (SQL) and cloud development across Azure services including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps, Azure Functions, ASA, and Azure Data Explorer. Proficiency in Python and Spark scripting; familiarity with Unix; experience with data platforms such as Teradata, Cassandra, MongoDB, SQL Server, ADLS, Snowflake; and CI/CD tools like GitHub, Azure DevOps, and Terraform. Hybrid work model based in Bangalore, India, with in-person collaboration emphasis.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years total experience
- 6+ years software solution development using agile, dev ops, product model
- 5+ years data analytics experience using SQL
- 4+ years cloud development and data lake experience (Azure)
- experience with Azure services: Data Factory, Databricks, Blob Storage, Data Lake, Power Apps, Functions, ASA, Data Explorer (KQL)
- Scripting: Python, Spark, Unix
- Data platforms: Teradata, Cassandra, MongoDB, SQL Server, ADLS, Snowflake
- CI/CD: GitHub, Azure DevOps, Terraform
