Job Summary
Senior AWS Cloud Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting scalable AWS cloud solutions while working directly with clients and business stakeholders. Key activities include designing, deploying, and managing secure, scalable AWS infrastructure; architecting highly available and fault-tolerant solutions; implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation; managing EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, EKS, Lambda, and CloudWatch; enforcing security best practices, compliance controls, and cost optimization; monitoring and resolving complex issues; and contributing to client-facing architecture discussions, requirements gathering, and technical documentation. Strong emphasis on client communication, collaboration with internal teams, and on-call production support.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of cloud engineering experience with strong AWS focus
- Proven experience in client-facing or consulting roles
- Deep knowledge of AWS networking, security, and core services
- Strong experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
- Linux administration and scripting experience (Bash, Python)
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
