Senior Avionics Test Engineer – RF

Senior Avionics Test Engineer – RF based in Long Beach, CA. Lead design reviews and act as an expert in design for test, productivity, supplier capability assessments, and quality control. Design and troubleshoot RF test setups for production operations (S-Band, X, C bands); develop automated test hardware and platforms to support test programs intended for production; manage, conduct, and train production team members on Acceptance, Qualification, and Proto-Flight test programs. Define and implement factory layouts, equipment selection, FAT, SAT, and production commissioning; support capital and facilities justification, project management, and implementation; lead problem containment and structured root cause and corrective action investigations. Candidate must have a Bachelor's in an engineering discipline, 5+ years in hardware development or electronics test engineering, and Python programming experience; familiarity with RF design, test instrumentation, and data acquisition is required. Desirable qualifications include an advanced engineering degree, 8+ years in manufacturing, environmental test experience (vibration, shock, thermal, vacuum), LabVIEW and National Instruments tools, and experience transitioning products from design to production.
