Job Summary
Lead design efforts for airport development projects, including runways, taxiways, aprons, and terminals, while providing technical leadership as a subject matter expert in civil aviation engineering. Plan and oversee design activities such as airfield layout, site grading, drainage, pavement design, and stormwater management. Coordinate staffing plans, control project cost and scope, and manage schedules and quality while resolving complex technical challenges and making independent engineering decisions. Establish strong professional relationships with key aviation clients, agencies, and the FAA, and cultivate business development initiatives to drive strategic growth. Mentor emerging talent and foster innovation across the practice. This role serves as a key Client Account Manager within AECOM's growth-focused program, requiring US citizenship and a valid driver's license. Based in Atlanta, the position offers opportunities to work on groundbreaking infrastructure projects transforming skylines and communities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering degree
- ten years of related civil experience
- demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Ten or more years of project management
- leading teams in the aviation market sector
- US Citizenship
- Valid US Driver's License
- pass a Motor Vehicle Records review
- attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location
