Job Summary
Lead the development of airport master plans and phasing plans while coordinating with air traffic control, airlines, and project teams to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations. Conduct traffic forecast analysis, capacity modeling, and aircraft performance studies to optimize stand allocation and GSE operations. Develop and maintain airfield operational plans covering runways, taxiways, and aprons, while performing dynamic simulations using CAST Airside and AirTOP. Execute feasibility studies, risk assessments, and obstacle assessments aligned with ICAO Annexes and local regulations. Liaise with engineering teams to provide operational input during design and construction phases, supporting sustainability initiatives in emissions and fuel efficiency planning. Requires 10+ years of aviation planning experience and proficiency in airport planning tools.
Required Qualifications
- At least 10 years' experience with aviation planning projects
- Experience working on large aviation (or similar) projects
- Strong knowledge of airfield operations, infrastructure, and aviation regulations
- Proficiency in airport planning tools, CAD and simulation software such as CAST Airside, AirTOP, etc.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in operational planning and capacity modeling
- Excellent stakeholder coordination and communication skills
- Understanding of ICAO Annexes, IATA AHM/ADRM, and local CAA regulations
- Ability to interpret and analyze traffic data and translate into actionable plans
- Adaptability to changing operational needs and project environments
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
- Project management awareness and ability to support multidisciplinary teams
Desired Qualifications
- Terminal and Landside would be an added advantage
