Senior Aviation Electrical Engineer

Job Summary
Design runway and taxiway lighting systems, NAVAIDs, and aviation infrastructure, including power, lighting, control, and navigational aid systems. Lead design production of drawings, develop calculations, specifications, engineering reports, and construction cost estimates. Perform construction administration, lead client meetings, site visits, and assist with business development and proposals. Mentor mid-level and junior engineering staff while collaborating on cross-functional projects involving photovoltaic developments and electric vehicle infrastructure. Requires a PE license, 10+ years of experience, and proficiency with AGI32, SKM, and AutoCAD. Hybrid work environment with travel requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience (infrastructure/transportation consulting engineering, preferably aviation)
- Proven experience leading designs of infrastructure and building electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, security, fire alarm, access control, communications
- Proficiency with AGI32, SKM, Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD
- Knowledgeable in FAA standards, National Electrical Code (NEC), industry best practices
- Willingness and ability to travel
