Job Summary
Senior AV Support Technician responsible for advanced AV setup and operation for large-scale events and meetings, troubleshooting complex issues, and designing optimized AV configurations. Leads and mentors Level 1 technicians, coordinates with IT and external vendors, oversees preventive maintenance and upgrades, and generates detailed documentation and performance reports. Must have strong knowledge of AV control systems (Crestron, Extron, AMX), audio systems, video conferencing platforms, signal flow, and AV over IP, with the ability to design and deploy large-scale AV systems and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced AV setup & operation for large-scale events
- Troubleshooting & issue resolution for complex AV problems
- Experience with AV control systems (Crestron, Extron, AMX)
- Knowledge of audio/video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Webex, Microsoft Teams)
- Mentorship or leadership experience for junior technicians
- Collaboration with IT for network-integrated AV systems
- Documentation & reporting of setups and performance
