Job Summary
Senior AV Field Engineer at Mobileye in Munich who will install and validate Mobileye evaluation systems on prototype vehicles, debug multidisciplinary system failures, perform test drives on open roads and test tracks, and travel to additional local cities and abroad projects. The role involves acting as the liaison between Mobileye and customers (OEMs and Tier 1), providing direct technical support, influencing the design and application of semi-autonomous driving systems, collaborating with AV development/validation/algorithm teams, generating expert reports, and representing the company in customer demonstrations. Requirements include a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or similar, driving license with advanced courses, Linux experience, 2+ years in customer-facing roles, hands-on installation experience, ability to configure/troubleshoot computers and devices, fluency in German and English, and willingness to travel regularly (including abroad).
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or similar field
- Valid driving license and Advanced driving courses
- Linux experience
- 2+ years of experience in customer facing roles (support / field engineer or similar)
- Hands-on experience with installation (assembling, wiring, soldering)
- Experience with configuring/troubleshooting computers, Operating Systems, protocol-based devices
- Fluent German and English (verbal and written)
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (Israel & Germany) for educational and training purposes
