Senior AV Engineer

Job Summary
Senior AV Engineer at a nationally recognized engineering and technology consulting firm. Design and engineer sophisticated audiovisual systems for large-scale construction and technology projects; partner with clients to develop AV solutions across planning, design, construction, and deployment; develop system architectures, infrastructure requirements, equipment specifications, and cost estimates; conduct technology assessments and cost-benefit analyses; collaborate with engineers, architects, security consultants, and other stakeholders; lead technical workshops and client discovery sessions to define project scope; produce deliverables including Technology Master Plans, High-Level Design documents, and Basis of Design reports; participate in site surveys, commissioning, and client meetings; manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and coordination; provide technical mentorship and AV expertise to internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, Associate degree, or equivalent combination of experience and technical expertise
- CTS certification required
- CTS-D and/or RCDD preferred
Desired Qualifications

- CTS certification required
- CTS-D and/or RCDD preferred
- Strong proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD
- Experience using acoustic modeling software such as EASE and/or EVAC
- Background in AV installation, integration, or contracting environments
- Demonstrated success delivering large-scale AV projects from concept through completion
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and client expectations
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
- Advanced proficiency with Bluebeam Revu or Bluebeam eXteme
