Job Summary
Diagnose and repair customer vehicles with accuracy, performing complex heavy-duty repairs and multi-point inspections while adhering to MAP guidelines and manufacturer standards. Explain technical diagnoses to customers and service consultants, recommend necessary services, and properly document all recommendations. Utilize computerized equipment for diagnostics, follow all safety procedures, and report concerns to your supervisor. Work flexible schedules including weekends, standing up to eight hours daily while lifting up to 70 pounds frequently.
Required Qualifications
- Previous automotive technician / mechanic experience
- ASE certifications in lieu of experience
- Ability to demonstrate proper use of computerized equipment for diagnostics
- Valid Driver's license
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Possess State Inspector License or ability to obtain a State Inspector license (in applicable locations) within 30 days of hire date
