Job Summary
Diagnose vehicles according to appropriate certifications and perform repairs outlined on Multi-point Inspection and Repair Orders with efficiency and accuracy. Explain technical diagnoses and necessary repairs to non-mechanical individuals, including store managers, service consultants, and customers. Recommend services to maintain vehicle running conditions and document all recommendations in customer files. Adhere to MAP guidelines, dealership, manufacturer, and Cooper's Automotive standards while following all safety procedures and reporting concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager. Maintain ASE certifications and renewals. Requires valid driver's license, minimum of one unexpired ASE or equivalent experience, and ability to work five days per week including Saturdays.
