Job Summary
Senior Automotive Technician responsible for diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles with accuracy and efficiency, performing advanced diagnostics while ensuring repairs meet MAP guidelines and dealership, manufacturer, and company standards. Responsibilities include diagnosing vehicles per certifications/experience, completing multi-point inspections and repair orders, executing complex/heavy-duty repairs, communicating technical needs to customers and store staff, documenting recommendations, adhering to safety procedures, and working flexible schedules including weekends. Requires ASE certifications or equivalent experience, valid driver’s license, potential State Inspector license, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Required Qualifications
- Previous automotive technician / mechanic experience required
- ASE certifications in lieu of experience
- Ability to demonstrate proper use of computerized equipment for diagnostics
- Valid Driver’s license
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Possess State Inspector License or ability to obtain a State Inspector license (in applicable locations) within 30 days of hire date
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Technical School experience preferred
